A mutual friend tells me there are 13 women out of 220+ students in 3rd and 4th year Computer Science at UofT. Yikes.
Oh wow.
I’ve heard of some initiatives to increase the number of women at CS in U of T. There was one event recently, GR8 Designs for GR8 Girls, for grade 8 girls. Hope it helps buck the trend.
